Yusuf Corker generally lined up as a strong safety for the Wildcats. He is a decent athlete. He has fluid hips and has good change of direction and acceleration ability. However, he struggles a bit with range due to his diagnosing problems in the run game. Despite being a good tackler and aggressive he struggles to fill run fits at times. However, Corker is good at diagnosing plays in the pass game. He is typically able to diagnose these plays and get to the ball. He struggles sticking with his man in man coverage and does not have great ball skills, but works well in zone coverage. Corker projects best as a strong safety in the NFL. He will likely start with some rotational and special teams work, but with some more coaching should be able to build upon his run defending and become a reliable safety at the next level.
