Name: Jaquan Brisker - Position: S
Height: 6'1" - Weight: 200 lbs
School: Penn State
Analyst : Lucas VanDenBroek
Very explosive. Shoots gaps quickly and is able to change his direction and speed efficiently.
Versatile. Penn State asked him to line up in a lot of different alignments and positions such as linebacker, box safety, slot defender, and in single high and double high safety looks.
Smart. He plays heads up and is able to read the QB quickly in order to determine where the ball is going and to who.
Good ball skills. Able to track the ball in the air accurately and is explosive enough to make a break on the ball when needed.
Needs to clean up his tackling form and wrap up lower.
Run angles need work. Too often he gets flying too fast and misses the angle he needs to come up with a tackle.
Does not possess the range to be a single high safety in the NFL.
His hips need to be more fluid and change of direction ability was a little bit quicker, especially for working around blocks in the run game.

Jaquan Brisker is a box safety for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He is a very athletic safety, with great explosiveness and speed. He is versatile and was used much more than as a box safety for the Nittany Lions and should see the same results in the NFL. He lined up as a linebacker, box safety, slot defender and in both single and double high safety looks. However, he does not possess the range to be an efficient single high safety for long. Brisker possesses good ball skills as well. He is a heads up safety who possesses good ability to track the ball in the air and can make breaks on the ball to create a play. Brisker struggles a bit against the run. He is strong enough to hold up against blockers and running backs, but needs to clean up his tackling form and his run angles. Too often he relies on his athleticism to make a play instead of his intelligence. Brisker projects best as a box safety at the next level. He lacks the high end athleticism to be a single high free safety in the NFL, but will provide versatility for his future NFL squad.
