The first conference we look at in the NFC will be the NFC East. 3 of the 4 teams in the division are heading into the year with new coaches. The lack of offseason should not affect veteran head coaches Ron Rivera and Mike McCarthy. But first year head coach Joe Judge of the Giants will have to navigate a young roster and first year duties with limited time with his team. This division will be a two-team race between the Cowboys and Eagles fighting for the division title. The Giants and Washington will turn to their young quarterbacks in Jones and Haskins to build a solid foundation for years to come. Can Wentz perform up to the standard of his contract, does Dak finally get his payday and which young QB will take the next leap?

Chase Young

Washington Football Team

Washington will be going into the season with very little to no expectations. Coach Ron Rivera will look to establish the culture he is known for creating in this first season. The strength of this team is on the defensive line with Chase Young being the team’s first round pick in April’s draft. All eyes will be on QB Dwayne Haskins who could be in a make or break year with this coaching staff. If he can take a leap then Rivera may feel comfortable with him moving forward, if he struggles, they could be looking at drafting a QB early next year.
Season Prediction 3-13

Andrew Thomas

New York Giants

The Giants head into life without Eli Manning with new head coach Joe Judge and QB Daniel Jones. The offense has plenty of weapons to work with in Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram, Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard. The offense line will miss a big piece in Nate Solder who decided to opt out of the season. The defense is the biggest question with this team after finishing 30th in points allowed last season. They addressed some CB and LB questions in free agency by signing James Bradberry and Blake Martinez. Look for Judge to bring a Patriot esque culture to New York.
Season Prediction 5-11

Ceedee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys

A new era begins in Dallas with Mike McCarthy taking over for Jason Garret. He will inherit one of the best offensive units in the league led by Prescott, Elliot and Cooper. The offensive line is still one of the best in the league and look for rookie WR CeeDee Lamb to put up some big numbers. While losing Gerald McCoy is a tough loss signing Everson Griffin to a team friendly deal is a key addition to the defensive line. The biggest question surrounding this team is does Prescott get the long term deal he wants, or does he get the franchise tag again.
Season Prediction 11-5

Jalen Reagor

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have the most stability of any team in this division, they have made the playoffs the last 3 years and will not be ushering in a new coaching staff like the other 3 teams. The major question heading into the year will be can Carson Wentz stay healthy for a full year and possible playoff run. Darius Slay and Jalen Reagor will look to provide the Eagles some help at their respectful positions after dismal showings from the CBs and WRs a year ago. They will face some challenging games against the likes of the Packers, Saints, Seahawks, 49ers and the Ravens.
