In this article we look at the last division in the AFC and one that could send 3 teams to the playoffs. The AFC North has 3 teams that could make a run at a playoff spot 1 team that is in rebuilding mode. You can find the AFC South, West and East predictions at wholeninesports.com along with other great articles. The Ravens are looking to repeat as division winners while the Browns and Steelers are looking to make the playoffs after a down year for both organizations. With Roethlisberger healthy and the Browns adding help on the offensive line to protect Mayfield better look for both teams to push the Ravens for the division.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are in full rebuild mode for this season while Coach Zac Taylor grooms 1st overall pick Joe Burrow. The Bengals have some pieces on offense with Joe Mixon, Tyler Boyd, AJ Green and rookie Tee Higgins. The offensive line and the defense both lack the talent to compete in this division. Let Burrow develop with the weapons around him and get another top 10 pick in this next year’s draft.

Season Prediction 4-12

Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns were the talk of the NFL last year during the offseason. The Browns did not live up to the hype and this past offseason they switched coaches again. They added Jack Conklin in free agency and drafted Jedrick Wills to protect Mayfield better and open more lanes for running back Nick Chubb. The Brown have one of the easiest schedules in the league with only 2 of their road games this year coming against teams who made the playoffs. The pressure is on Mayfield who is going into his third year and one that is crucial to determine if he is the Browns franchise QB or just another guy they missed on.

Season Prediction 8-8

Pittsburgh Steelers

Last year did not go as planned with Roethlisberger going down early and QBs Mason Rudolph and Delvin Hodges taking over. With Roethlisberger healthy now the Steelers are looking to get back to the playoffs. The defense returns all the main players that made it a top 5 defense. The Steelers have the 2nd easiest schedule in the league and never travel farther than Dallas. In their final 5 games they only play 1 playoff team from 2019. If Roethlisberger stays healthy and the defense continues to dominate games, look for the Steelers to push for the division or at worst a wild card spot.

Season Prediction 11-5

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens had a great regular season that saw Lamar Jackson win league MVP. But they were upset by the Titans in the playoffs. The Ravens didn’t need to make many additions to a pretty complete roster but the ones they made should be pretty impactful. Adding Calais Campbell and rookie Patrick Queen to the defense and running back JK Dobbins to an already elite offense. Their schedule is the easiest in the league but there are some challenges they’ll face. They have to go to Philadelphia and Houston 2 challenging road games, and they will host Kansas City and Tennessee for 2 more challenging home games. They finish the season with 4 games against non 2019 playoff teams.

Season Prediction 12-4
