We’re already about halfway through the college football season and business is really picking up now in the Big XII. Before we get into the games coming up this weekend, let’s take a look at the conference power rankings.

1. Oklahoma

Oklahoma

The Sooners remain at the top of the rankings after a clean win over Kansas but next week is the Red River Showdown and it could shake things up at the top of the list.

2. Texas

Texas

The Longhorns beat the Mountaineers and built up some more momentum heading into the Red River Showdown. Texas is hoping to pull off the upset and shake up not only the conference but the Top 25.

3. Baylor

Baylor

Baylor has found their way into the top 25 as they continue their undefeated run to start the year. The Bears host Texas Tech and get to find out if Jett Duffey was for real or just a flash in the pan.

4. Iowa State

Iowa State

A dominant performance from Iowa State over TCU moves them up in the rankings and gives them hope to be ranked again if they can keep up the positive momentum.

5. Kansas State

Kansas State

The Wildcats offense didn’t show up against Baylor and if they can’t turn it around then expect K-State to keep dropping in the rankings.

6. TCU

TCU

TCU had a pitiful showing against Iowa State but have a bye week now to try and figure something out to fix their issues.

7. Texas Tech

Texas Tech

The Red Raiders played a fantastic game with Jett Duffey as their quarterback but now we’ll see if they can continue that momentum with some film out on this offense now.

8. Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State

The Cowboys offense didn’t click on all cylinders last week and if they want to get back into the top 25, they’ll need this bye week to get Spencer Sanders back to how he played prior to this past week.

9. West Virginia

West Virginia

Austin Kendall tried to kill this team but he couldn’t do it, which would be impressive if he wasn’t the quarterback of this team. He was a major contributor as to why they lost this game but it was overall positive as a team if you take away the interceptions by Kendall.

10. Kansas

Kansas

Kansas got off to a 7-0 start and it was pretty much over from there but that start gave me some hope personally for Kansas to be able to make some things happen later in the year. Pookah Williams should have plenty of success with the Jayhawks this year and in the future.
