Week 1 of the NFL season has come and gone and now we have to wait until Thursday night to catch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Carolina Panthers.

1. New England Patriots

New England Patriots

Over reaction or not, but probably a safe bet that we will see this team in the Super Bowl. Their defense is hungry, and the offense just keeps showing how fierce it can be.

2. Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs

The offseason goal for the Chiefs was to build a better defense, which was really the only issue last year, and after their week one performance, cleanup of play and they are going to give the Pats a run for their money in the AFC championship.

3. New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints

The home opener for the Saints was a game that essentially defined Brees’ ability to NEVER be counted out, something we all knew. Both teams played their hearts out, but the better team prevailed.

4. Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles Rams

Week one, the thought crossed my mind, “Has McVay been figured out?”, which was quickly followed by a feeling of stupidity realizing, “No he has not.” Going to be fun seeing the Saints and Rams in the NFC championship game. Week one over reaction? Maybe. I don’t care though.

5. Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers

Figure out your defense and this team is set. Sure, they have suffered losses, but after Week 1, the Chargers are doing great with their RB situation. Ekeler was great and showed no signs of slowing down.

6. Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles

Let’s just keep hoping that Wentz and the rest of the team keep the Eagles flying. Watching Jackson catching bombs brought back a nostalgic feeling that I welcomed back with open arms.

7. Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens

Watching the Ravens felt like I was watching a game of Madden where the big brother essentially doesn’t hold back on the little brother who has never played the game before. It was a blast watching Hollywood Brown and Lamar Jackson completely rip apart the Dolphins defense.

8. Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys

Dak went off and showed us that the Cowboys should have a fun season. Although it was against the Giants, it showed that he is going to do his best to have a great contract year.

9. Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings

Dalvin cook stays healthy, their defense holds up and dominates like they did against the Falcons, then we could see this performance week in and week out.

10. Houston Texans

Houston Texans

Watson and the rest of the Texans played their heart out, and really if it wasn’t for the powerful performance from Brees on that final drive, they could have won. Tightening up plays on offense and keeping Watson protected will ensure their playoff spot.

11. Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks

Clowney made his presence known, and the Seahawks pulled out a dub. Although it was a win, still plenty to improve on. The most important is to clean up the offensive line.

12. Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers

The first game of the year may not have been what everyone expected, but it still showed the presence of two good teams. Rodgers ability for big plays is still there, but it would be nice to see more life from their running game.

13. Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans

The Titans ran all over the Browns and showed that they are going to be heavy hitters this year. Incredible veteran play from Henry, Walker, and Wake.

14. Indianapolis Colts

Marlon Mack

Issues were seen in their secondary, and their QB play really wasn’t terrible, but it would sure be nice to see the running game improve to keep them in games throughout the year.

15. Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears

What a great defense. I can’t stress this enough, but their defensive line was great. Just so much fun to watch. Everything else though was a little meandering and needs vast improvements. It’s week one, they will hopefully stop with the cute plays and play to their strengths more.

16. Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns

Did the overhype distract the Browns? It very well could have. The first 3 Quarters for Baker had decent QB play but enter the 4th quarter it seemed that they decided to just let the Titans win. The offensive line needs to somehow get strengthened or it could be a long year for Browns fans (me).

17. San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers

The defensive play was great, secondary stayed at a fast pace, while Winston was constantly having to look over his shoulder for the Niners defensive line. Jimmy G makes better decisions, have better pocket presence, and we could see them climbing up these rankings week by week.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers

Big Ben just wasn’t feeling it against the Pats. No one on this team was apparently. Practice will be long and hard this week, but knowing the Steelers, they won’t be steam rolled like this often.

19. Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers

A short week will hinder their turn around, but hopefully they can shake off the loss and put up a good game against the Bucs.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville JAguars

The Jags faced one of the best offenses in the NFL week 1, in which their defense could not keep up and frustrated them to no end.  To make the loss even worse, they lost their starting QB. Minshew might be the answer, but we will have to see come Week 2.

21. Oakland Raiders

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders came to show they didn’t need AB, and proved they are going to be a good team this year. There were plenty of plays made that showed Carr could be back to his (potential) MVP status. They just need to clean up routes as well as defense communication.

22. Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals

Their defensive line kept them in the game as much as possible, Andy Dalton had an incredible game, and John Ross might have found his stride again.

23. Buffalo Bills

Buffalo BIlls

A comeback win will only ignite this young team to show who they are and can become week after week. Once they pick up their pace early in games, they can be a handful for any team.

24. Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons

Defensive play needs to vastly improve, but so does the offense. This team has potential, but week one they may have forgotten that.

25. Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions

TJ Hockenson had one hell of a game. Other than that, they blew a big lead. Their problem: over coaching.

26. New York Jets

NEw York JEts

Darnold’s accuracy and decision making were questionable at best. This team blew a lead and really needs to figure themselves out before their MNF game against the Browns.

27. Washington Redskins

Washington Redskins

We all just want to see Guice have a productive career, but that will be postponed a little longer. Their offense showed life for a little while, but slowly dwindled to suffer a loss to the Eagles.

28. Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals

The game ended in a tie, but the Cardinals first half play earned a big fat L. Their offense could be fun, but they are still trying to figure themselves out. Defense needs better attack and communication.

29. Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos

When WR’s are dropping the ball in the Endzone, you need to address that problem and fix it ASAP. The defense didn’t feel like they were awake, and Flacco had a hard time getting the ball out before the pressure for to him.

30. New York Giants

New York Giants

Barkley was an animal. He was so much fun to watch. The rest of the team however was either blowing coverages or just forgot that it was an NFL game. Not really, but the Giants are in for a long season.

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The WR’s struggled, Winston threw 3 INT’s, and the offensive line couldn’t keep up with the Niners defensive line. Hopefully it was just the week 1 cobwebs, right?

32. Miami Dolphins

Miami DOlphins

Absolutely destroyed by the Ravens, their players are wanting out of Miami, tank season officially started week 1 and I don’t see much progress from this spot for a while.
